Why bother with SEO?
Search Engine Optimisation – when done right – is the most cost effective way of acquiring new customers online
My digital marketing journey started in 2009 when I decided to sell music lessons online. Once I had learned how to build a website and promote my business online, I soon realized the value of the free traffic I could get from Google. I was hooked on SEO!
A year later I was invited to join what is now part of Betway Group and in 2011 I joined digital agency Greenlight, where I lead an Outreach team and worked with clients such as 32red and Sky Vegas. In April 2013, I moved to Premier Farnell/Element14 to lead their global offsite programme.
In October 2014 I returned to the online gaming industry when I joined The Stars Group (owner of PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, BetStars & Full Tilt). Fast forward to 2017 and I now lead a team of inhouse SEOs as Senior SEO Manager.
Since 2010 I have helped companies drive traffic and conversion from SEO in the most challenging of industries and I am still hooked!
